Jericho Conversations

Deep Thinking, Shared Out Loud

Jericho Conversations began as a spontaneous act during the first COVID lockdown – an attempt to make sense of a rapidly changing world by asking better questions, and listening more carefully to the answers. What emerged was a series of thoughtful, searching podcast dialogues that offered fresh insight at a time of confusion and uncertainty.

Since then, the series has grown into something more enduring – a quiet but vital space where new thinking can take root. Each conversation brings together expert voices, curious minds and dissenting perspectives. Together, they explore the forces reshaping business, society and leadership. They ask not just “what next?” but “what matters?”

These conversations are conceived and produced by Matthew Gwyther, Jericho partner and one of the UK’s most respected business journalists. A former editor of Management Today for 17 years and five-time winner of BSME Business Magazine Editor of the Year, Matthew brings rigour, wit and journalistic sharpness to every episode. His distinguished career includes contributions to The Sunday Times MagazineThe IndependentThe TelegraphThe ObserverGQ and Business Magazine. He was also the former presenter of BBC Radio 4’s In Business and PPA Business Feature Writer of the Year in 2001.

We continue to produce Jericho Conversations as part of our commitment to thought leadership that is genuine, brave and generous. And increasingly, we are helping others do the same.

For some clients, a podcast becomes part of a wider Jericho programme – capturing the essence of a complex issue and opening it up to broader dialogue. For others, it’s a standalone piece of editorial work – an intelligent conversation, well told, that helps shift hearts and minds.

What matters most is that these conversations are never content for content’s sake. They are designed to engage, challenge and connect – carving out space for reflection and building communities of influence around the issues that count.
